Personal Accountz, the multi-platform personal finance software from UK company Accountz.com Ltd now supports both import and export of OFX files. Many banks worldwide have adopted this flavour of XML including HSBC.
The ability to import means that users no longer need to enter data manually. Personal Accountz has an account mapping facility that enables it to learn how to analyse data. It includes the ability to recognise and ignore duplicate entries, and the forecast facility has been adapted so forecasts based on real standing orders and direct debits and credits can be created without data duplication.
Users can now export, merge and manipulate data and import back again with ease.
